Cynalytica has joined Manufacturing x Digital (MxD) – a DoD-backed consortium composed of industry, government, and academia organizations focused on achieving cybersecure manufacturing digital transformation.
MxD, previously called DMDII (Digital Manufacturing and Design Innovation Institute), is the second of the 16 institutes, known collectively as Manufacturing USA.
The institute develops solutions to manufacturing challenges through their partner projects across 6 key focus areas:
- Future Factory
- Cybersecurity
- Supply Chain
- Digital Engineering
- Workforce Development
- Defense Collaborations
Cynalytica’s objective in this partnership is to help US manufacturers develop quantifiable use cases in Industrial Control System (ICS) cybersecurity. These use cases will help define, test and validate key operational value propositions while delivering a more secure and resilient manufacturing architecture to align with digital transformation initiatives. Cynalytica is looking forward to working with MxD to bring advanced cybersecurity innovation to U.S. manufacturing industries and supply chains.
